Honestly, it's a little bit more Sam Ramie if you ask me!

[ It's said wit ha bit of a dark laugh though, bouncing up to...yeah, they're going deeper in. Those rats need to head to their rat nest, after all. Elda keeps herself aware of what's ahead of them to better defend if she can. But mostly? She's just keeping up with the girl ]

[Well, enough of this. She's close enough that it feels like it's now or never; without a second though, Rin throws herself forward to bodily tackle the target rat and pin it to the ground.

As expected, this has middling results. Positives: it lets the package go! ...You know, so it can twist its head and try to bite at her fingers, kicking its legs and scratching at her clothes with sharp nails.

This is going to suck later. WELP. Rin just grunts and tries to shield her face by sticking it close to the giant rat's side, still holding it down but trying to inch close enough so she can reach the envelope...!]

Elda hisses and she leaps into the melee here, but her technique might look... odd? Namely, she's going to slam an open palm onto the head of the captive rat. An open palm which is glowing with a soft, pale light. And the rat, once hit - is going to go slack-jawed. Maybe even drooling a little bit.

She did, after all, just basically make its limited rat memories explode ]

[Wincing, because her hands are pretty scratched up now (it's fine, it's worth it):]

[Wait, what. What is it you're doing there, Elda? Raising her head, Rin stares oddly at that light... But there's not much time to ponder it, of course, as more rats try to swoop in.]

[ Damn she didn't want to fight more of them, she'd end up tearing her coat and more to the point she's... the smaller woman snarls, and if Rin catches her eyes, she'll see they're catlike now. Elda leaps up in front of Rin bouncing off the drooling rat to catch the bite of one of the others on her left arm while using her right as a really hard right hook into another.

She's hoping to scare them off immediately, but that might not work! ]
