The second's out to find all those keys. Don't worry, we'll work it out by days end somehow or another.

[A bit, actually. And if he thinks she needs to be reassured, she imagines it's because he's feeling frazzled at the ends himself. She should probably return the favor.]
I'll keep an eye out for them. If worst comes to worst, my team will be okay. There's two people in here who can erect different types of magical barriers. We'll keep the water out.
[That doesn't help anyone else, she knows, but it's one less worry. He can prioritize finding the other keys that way, and not stress about having to comb the altar room.]
... He thinks of Aang in this moment, of all people. And it makes him smile a little, and he decides to hold onto that, the sort of view that Aang would take of this. He would never say it this way, of course, but he knows he can at least fake something. And so he does. ]
