[Buzzed on up! While she's a lot more used to casual locale, all of her neighbours probably Fret Over Uninvited Guests so it's definitely that kind of place.
When Aki answers the door, she's toeing the line between casual and dressed up for the sake of Rin's visit; a nice black sweater just long enough to almost hide the shorts she's wearing under it, as well as a pair of slippers. She gives Rin a nod in greeting-] Hey. Glad you could make it. [-and steps aside to let her in.]
[The entrance leads right into quite a big room, with the living area directly ahead - a nice big couch and a single chair centered around a coffee table all pointed towards a sizable tv - and at the very back of the apartment a pair of double doors, that seem to lead out to a balcony...though it's really small. The type you could fit about two people onto just to look out over the streets below.
Directly to the left from the entrance is the kitchen area, with only a single counter to separate the "living room" area from it. The appliances are all fine, but clearly less money was spent on the kitchen than everything else, barring the large fridge.
Probably most impressive is the fact that there're no less than five rooms attached to the main area. Given one is easily guessed as the bathroom, that's a lot of space.
It's a huge step up from her old apartment, considering that wasn't even a quarter of the size of this place and her bed, tv and kitchen were all in one room, with only one door to separate a bathroom from everything else.
Also noteworthy is the fact that while Aki was a lazy shit in her old apartment and it wasn't ever as tidy as it could've been, including the occasional unwashed pile of dishes in the sink or takeout boxes that hadn't been thrown out...this place has none of that and looks really clean. So it's not just her home that's changed, apparently.
Aki gestures to Rin to move over towards the couch, though approaches the kitchen herself.]
